The real reason for Artics on the B1 |

Posted by davidy on Tue Jun 30 21:43:26 2020 NYCT ordered more than 150 artics for the L shuttle, and when the shuttle was canceled these artics had no plan for regular service to replace older buses, so they have been sitting unused since than. So transit is looking for new routes to use these extra artics o. Now that Upk is getting artics the NEW buses are going to the Bronx and Upk gets the old beat up junk. But in reality when a depot gets a new type of bus collisions go up, and the fleet gets dinged and banged up, so it is not really a bad idea. |
