That's the problem with every MTA pla I can remember. They always mix good with bad. They never come up with a plan everyone can support. Even the B40/78 combination into the B47 was good, but they unnecessarily eliminated the St Johns Pl portion of the B40 which hurt many.They even insisted on changing my southwest Brooklyn plan which was all good to add bad elements like partially rerouting the B74 to Surf Avenue which lasted three months and extending the B11 to Canarsie which everyone told them was too long. That lasted a few years. The seem incapable of implementing anything that is truly positive. |
