Grehound had four types of vehicles at the 1964-65 World's Fair. There were the sightseeing buses with the windows in the roof, the transit buses which ran arond the perimeter of the fair, the "glide-a-ride" tracotr trains and the escorter. The escorter featured a seat for four people in the front and the driver/ guide rode behind you. Several of the tractor trains went to the Bronx Zoo after the fair. One set went to the New York Botanical Gardens as the "Floral Flyer"> The sightseeing buses when to Gray Line Sightseeing. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
