Posted by Transportation Hub on Tue Feb 18 20:59:12 2020 Seen here are the 2017/2019 New Flyer XD60 Xcelsior and the 2016-2018 Novabus LFSA SmartBuses on the B44 +SelectBusService route. These buses collectively replaced the 2012-2013 Novabus LFSA, which has since then decommissioned from +SBS duty to local service for local articulated routes in Manhattan and the Bronx. Please enjoy.This was a long time coming. The B46 is now articulated! Well, just the +SBS counterpart. Seen here are the 2017/2019 New Flyer XD60 Xcelsior and the 2016-2018 Novabus LFSA SmartBuses on the B46 +SelectBusService route. The articulation decomissions the 2018 XD40s to local service I didn't mention this in the B44 +SBS video,but the 2017 XD60s (the even #s in the +SBS scheme) have been delivered to the Flatbush Depot, more yet to come from both JFK and LGA, who borrowed the buses for Q52/53 +SBS. The 2016-2018 LFSAs are loans from MJQ, so its just only temporarily, not a permanent thing. Please enjoy. |
