I lived in East New York in the 60's and by the time I left in 67 it was a bad place to be. Today it's not much better according to a cop I know who still works out of the 75th precinct there. But he says the arsons that chased me out or the drugs of the 80's aren't the big problem there any more, it's guns. So at least they didn't shoot the bus driver. |
