Does putting all the bus stops on the far side of intersections make a difference in running time ?Green lights can turn red during a near side stop, and then the dwell time increases to the cycle time of the light. Maybe they should focus on that, and space them every 3 blocks (assuming 20 blocks equals a mile) as a good balance. |
