You are incorrect. 8.5 * 1.25 is 10.625 not 11.625.The way I figure it, at 8.5 mph a 2.3 mile trip takes 16.31 minutes. A 25 percent increase in speed is 10.625 mph. A 2.3 mile trip takes 12.994 minutes. I previously said it was 13.14 minutes. So it's still about a 3 minute difference. |
