I guess they feel that if a one-seat ride to Jamaica is so important, those people can take the LIRR and pay the extra fare. My first thought was that the QT22 & QT62 should both end at the Far Rockaway A train station, but I guess they figured that they might as well give the QT22 some unique coverage away from the A train, and there's no point in the QT62 connecting to the A train at both ends. I agree, it does make it harder to get to Jamaica by bus, though, since people on the southern end have to backtrack to Far Rockaway (since the QT22 doesn't connect with the QT13 at its eastern terminal) |
