It also looks like there sending the Q52SBS to the Gateway Center Mall in Brooklyn via the Belt Parkway. It also looks like a route has been extended to the North Shore Hospital in Manhasset along Community Drive but why not go into the former Macy's Parking lot to instead turn around connecting closer to the buses along Northern Blvd? Another bus has replaced bus service to the LIRR Little Neck Station instead of thru service along Little Neck Parkway plus it looks like segments of the Q110 and Q36 along Jamaica Avenue have been combined thus eliminating bus service along a small segment of Hempstead Avenue, 212th street/212th Place and Braddock Aavenue. I guess if there not smart enough to figure out how to serve these remote areas with a bus then just eliminate it and make people walk a half of a mile or give the commuter vans the business. seems like a bold plan but one that also seems to be very penny wise and pound foolish! |
