The actual 2969 - later lettered as Fifth Avenue Coach Lines Inc., even later lettered with MaBSTOA script on the top and the two-tone green - would have been retired and scrapped around the same time the air-conditioned batwings (8301-8780) first arrived among all but one of the OA depots (the 12th Street) in early '67. As well, the actual 2969 was a TDH-4509 from a 75-bus late 1950 order put in by NYC Omnibus. This was one of the TDH-5101's from 1948. |
