Any bus driver who is running hot and has any scruples at all will pull over and kill the time. Septa has a 2 minute rule , and if you are hotter than that , you risk a write-up. Central Control tracks at the buses , and if someone is watching , (you can't watch every bus) you got banged for being early. I have been on Suburban routes that have been 5 hot at a time point, the operator pulls over and kills about 3 minutes. When I wait for my bus, , before I walk to the bus stop,I'm tracking it on my cell phone, so I don't have wait long. I've seen the bus be 4-5 early at times. The route I take, starts at point in West Chester , Pa. and there is no good place to pull over and kill time.Once you get out of town, you can pull over, if you re hot. |
