I saw online a NYCO annual report for the year ended Dec. 31, 1952, in which they detailed their intentions to acquire what was then the Board of Transportation's Manhattan Bus Division routes. So they took their initiative prior to the creation of the TA.But yeah, the irony of subsequent events does loom large, doesn't it? |
