I have been able to take advantage of Google Books by using this website and was able to get all of the text for the portion of bus renumbering, which I compiled here. This is mostly right, but there are either some errors, or NYCT decided to renumber some routes to different numbers. I had heard that the Malba Shuttle would have been renumbered Q71. Is this where the rumor originated or was it based in fact? Also, there are some weird things, such as the Q44A becoming the Q87 instead of the Q46, the Q44FS becoming the Q74 instead of the Q20, and the Q44VP becoming the Q50 instead of the Q74, among others. Do any people here know more about this? Thanks. |
