Second, did you know that you can scan PDFs page by page on a smartphone?Does this work on bound books (where the image can't all be made perfectly flat) or large images? Incidentally, 20 years ago I asked at the NYPL, main location, if I could get maps scanned (for a fee) and was told no, they didn't have the equipment. Hopefully that has changed. (I never asked again because now the maps I want are available online as PDFs.) |
