Sometimes it works to the locals' advantage perhaps. The famous one, though they've since reworded, was the "No Standing Except Commercial Vehicles, 3 hour limit, muni meter, blah blah, 7AM to 6PM."I've had passengers look at me with horror when I've pulled my ordinary car into such a spot at 6pm, parked for free and walked away, as they were so sure it couldn't be that easy. |
