I don’t understand why they can’t use a conventional traffic light that can be activated by a push button.Compliance - drivers either don't see cars coming and blow the red light, or they don't see an intersection and miss the signal entirely. The HAWK also speeds things up for drivers, because they are allowed to go during the flashing DON'T WALK instead of having to wait at a red light. |
