Other carriers within the city of New York do not appear on MTA maps. For example, Greyhound Lines operates an unmapped bus route between Brooklyn and Manhattan. NY Waterway operates unmapped bus routes in Manhattan. SNT Bus (Metro-North) operates unmapped bus routes in the Bronx. RIOC operates an unmapped bus route in Manhattan. Golden Touch (Downtown Alliance) operates an unmapped bus route in Manhattan.The decisions by the New York City Transit Authority as to what routes appear on its maps appear to be arbitrary, decided by whim. |
