Woodhaven is impassable for drivers in the afternoon. Queens Blvd to Kew Gardens Rd or Austin St is now the superior route to get from the LIE to Jamaica. While it's impossible to have a sane discussion here over whether a bus should be given priority over private vehicles... perhaps they should have first attempted to improve the traffic flow in extremely obvious ways, like eliminating the left turn onto Union Tpke, which would have benefited just about everyone who uses Woodhaven.But I get it, it's easier to come up with myopic and incompetent plans and then cook the books to justify them. |
