Posted by Joe on Sun Dec 2 11:32:01 2018 This morning about 10:20, WINS radio carried a story that may have happened on December 2, 2018. On a Bx4 approaching Parkchester or Westchester Square, two female thieves poured a liquid on the head of a woman seated near an exit door. When one offered to clean the hair, the other snatched a pocketbook and exited, followed by her companion and the victim chasing them. The two got away with about $60 and two credit cards. The story said the bus camera footage was given to police.--- So the MTA is recording some incidents inside buses! I can understand recording door situations because the films reduce phoney injury claims. Does anyone know the extent of recording camera installations and how what is recorded is downloaded? Thanks.
