Posted by W.B. on Fri Sep 21 10:01:39 2018 September 21, 1932 - The Book of Last Runs Manhattan, New York Fifth Avenue Coach Company Service is discontinued on a branch of Route 4 - Fifth Avenue-Riverside Drive via 110th Street, which had terminated south at Astor Place since 1922. This only leaves the usual 4 branch which terminated south at Penn Station since c.1921 (and will until August of 2018). (Source: "Fifth Avenue Coach Company." Motor Coach Age, July-August 1971.) |
