That's what I mean. It had been shaped that way - only on the east side - since 1964. As seen here . . .

. . . evidently, this was prepared after May 24. Had this map been put out earlier, doubtless M107 would have travelled alongside 2, 3 and 4 at 110th Street west of Fifth, and staying next to 4 to Riverside Drive.

Evidently, in the interim, (M)107 as Hagstrom saw it was transferred from NYCO Division to Surface Transit Division (if that Motor Coach Age article on MaBSTOA from 1972 was correct about the agency retaining the Fifth Avenue Coach Lines-era nomenclatures for the differing routes).
