I did the calculations too quickly. But since it's a little more than 2.5 miles it's probably 16 mph which is still probably one of the fastest local bus routes in the city. So the point still applies, that if you want to focus on speeding bus routes, this would not be the first route you would target to eliminate bus stops and even if you did, the average speed would not increase. |
