What the. . .is MTA deliberately trying to play "Guess the New Layout?" I think it would be obvious that any conversation at this open house would be helped by knowing the exact change (especially for the Q35) in advance.Either 1) the Q35 is going further east (but then why wouldn't they just say "extension" rather than "path adjustment"). . . . . .or. . . . . .2) most/all westbound Q22s to end at B 116th, without taking buses off the route (so frequency would go up). Then the Q35 would be responsible for the entire peninsula west of B 116th, so an adjustment would be needed (maybe via Rockaway Beach Blvd in the B 120s, then via Newport in the B 130s, then maybe via Neponsit in the B140s. This setup would satisfy all the "clues" given, but I can't imagine this happening without the open house being more in Belle Harbor than in Arverne! Hmm. . . . |
