The 107 was/is the Irvington-New York route, the 118 was the downtown Newark-New York route.From the mid 1960s through the 1970s, the 118 was served almost exclusively by W700s (1965 GMC SDM5302). They didn't get anything newer until NJ Transit added some S8M5303s to the mix. The MC-9s couldn't accommodate the exact-fare boxes, so the then-renumbered 108 still ran the Fish until the 1989 Flxible Metro suburbans were delivered. |
