You made up a number with no basis in reality and claimed it is more correct than the logical assumption which everyone else including the DOT is making.There IS NO reason to assume 2015 is different than the years prior to it. You DO have a strong reason to believe the 4 year average will be very close to the 5 year average, as you already have 80% of the data. The remaining 20% (KSI in 2015) would have to be astronomically different in order for your estimate to be accurate. What reason do you have for assuming that the KSI in 2015 suddenly jumped to 882? |
