Bravo to The NY Times for printing the Op-Ed "Wheels of Misfortune."The story sadly told of an issue I've observed, at least in NYC, for years. Many cyclists flaunt traffic rules and put themselves and pedestrians at risk. When I call them out for blowing past red lights and pedaling the wrong way in their own bike lanes, they get hostile. I now look both ways when crossing one way streets, to make a cyclist isn't in my path. |
