Looking again at the departure board in the first photo, Rockland Coaches (Coach USA) seems to visit Gate 1 about hourly, with 16 departures on weekdays, and 10 daily departures on weekends. Mid-day, it seems that five trips from PABT visit the GW Bridge station. Route 9 and its variations mostly terminate at the New City Route 304 Park and Ride, a large bus shelter (no seats) at a parking lot. On weekdays, while 16 trips receive passengers at the new GW Bridge Station, I count about 115 trips leaving PABT at 41st Street for destinations in Bergen and Rockland Counties. Other Rockland terminals seem to be Palisades Center Mall, Nanuet Mall, and Mount Ivy.

Rockland Coaches has been using George Washington Bridge for more than eighty years. The New York Times, February 19, 1934, page 34, lists these bus firms being allowed to increase fares (mostly by five cents) between Bergen County and Washington Heights: PSCT, Hill Bus Company, Rockland Coach Company, Spring Valley Bus Company, and the Washington Bridge Express Line.

The Facebook page of RedAndTanCoachUsa appears alive with recent delays and trip cancellations reported.
