The B42 goes back to the days of the BMT which provided a free transfer from the Canarsie Line to the trolley to Canarsie Pier. It was actually considered an extension of the subway line.Today I think the "L" train should be coordinated withe the bus. Trains should wait until the bus arrives, and buses should wait until the train arrives. |
