I don't collect, but often if the "bus map seat" is free on a bus, I'll sit there and pass the time by looking at it. Often I notice trivialities about routes or learn about oddball turns a route makes in areas I may not have visited or visited rarely.The system map is still fun to look at whenever there is one, but a PDF suffices. When I was little and got a new map on paper, it looked so good that I would never want to open it, since it always had that somewhat crumpled look after being unfolded the first time. NICE hasn't updated the system map on their website (and so I assume, any paper version) in almost five years. It's very outdated and giving out some blatantly incorrect information. I'm not sure if that means they stopped caring or just forgot that it exists? |
