Low floors make it easier for older passengers like me with bad knees easier to board and more importantly you have a far less maintenance intensive wheelchair ramp.Bad knees aside, passengers board low floor buses faster than high floor buses. This has to account for dwell time at bus stops and keeping schedule. Bill Newkirk |
