No, 102" wide trucks are allowed on all truck routes if they are carrying household goods, or on truck routes within a mile of an interchange (which covers a lot of Queens Boulevard) if not.Ignoring 53' trailers, because....don't get me started...what you wrote only applies to 48' trailers and doubles/twin 28'-6" tandem trailers (which I'm sure you know - just clarifying for others). It doesn't apply single unit trucks and to other Semi-Trailer/Combination trucks, per DOT. |
