Stephen Bauman have shown you data from the existing bus lanes that show it has slowed traffic significantly in the peak direction during the peak hour which us most importantDon't misquote me. I said two things. First, that the simulation model baseline used by NYCDOT did not accurately simulate the published bus schedule. Second, that the published scheduled bus travel time increased between the extremes of the dedicated bus lane increased after installation. I did not extrapolate the bus schedule to general traffic speed. I have no independent data regarding vehicle speed on Woodhaven Blv by which to make such a comparison. |
