Some streets narrow the driving lane(s) by just drawing white buffer zones (not bike lanes) setting off the parking lane by the curb. I'm guessing this prevents (or at least discourages) the potentially dangerous practice of passing on the right.Are bike lanes standard traffic calming measures? |
