When was the first M-102 Discontinued?

The 125th Street streetcar line was converted to bus service on June 29, 1947. The bus ran over the same route as the trolleys between 3rd Avenue and the Hudson River and was known as the M-102. As 125th Street was already well served by the Bx-29 Willis Avenue bus the M-102 basically consisted of short turns and was eventually discontinued. The M-102 designation was revived in 1974 as a replacement for the M-101 A.

Does anyone know when the first M-102 was discontinued?

Thanks, Larry, RedbirdR33
