I don't know why I go through so much trouble for you, such a demeaning person, but official document from Nassau County Comptroller:http://archive.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/Comptroller/documents/MTALIBusStudyFINAL.pdf Go down to page 4 (If you go on making a fuss, you are totally hopeless) "The MTA served notice on October 7, 2010 to the Nassau County Legislature that it will no longer subsidize the Long Island Bus System (LIBS), and requested that Nassau County increase its subsidy from $9.1 million to its full projected subsidy of $36.1 million for fiscal year 2011. It is anticipated that the MTA will follow through with the mandatory notice to discontinue LIBS service leaving Nassau Commuters stranded with significant economic damage to the County economy." |
