The version CDTA has, has unworkable AC *and* windows which may as well not open. Unworkable meaning, even when the AC is fully functioning, the rear part of the bus is always hot because the engine compartment is one of those 1/3rd width ones in the main passenger cabin. While it's nice that they have a view out the back window, these buses should be banned from service when the temperature is > 90. People always open the windows, which open only 1.5 inches, just enough for the cool air from the front to go right out but not enough to actually create a breeze, then the AC unit breaks making a bad situation worse.Some people will dig out the stopper for the windows, then you can get a nice breeze if you luck into one of those. Otherwise, this bus is hell in the summer. |
