Anything can be changed if the politicians want to change it.Correct, the restriction can be lifted in Albany. It didn't happen when Giuliani wanted a hotel. Then when the City tried demolishing the buildings for a park, an injunction was issued against demolition. EDC wants to subdivide the property into house lots, which the community and local politicians don't want. No one has been looking for a park and ride. |
