Yes. What it shows was they were afraid of a lawsuit because I had evidence from 20 other employees that they were getting sick as well. In fact one of my employees who also has asthma had severe coughing attacks on the job where his entire head would turn a dark shade of purple. He told me his asthma has not bothered him until he started working in East New York. In fact he died four years later at age 56 from those problems.

I was also glad to be transferred. I didn't care about being demoted. My health was more important to me and I am still glad I made that choice because I might not be here today if I chose my career over my health. I never should have been put in that position in the first place.

Yes it does speak volumes that the MTA cared more about not getting sued than fixing a health problem so its employees would not have to suffer.
