The uncomfortable S89 is not suitable for what is a commuter run, not a local run. It dumps everybody out at the Bayonne light rail station. One-seat express services to the financial districts of Jersey City and Hoboken is more appropriate.I used the Teleport area as an example of where an east-west route could terminate, there are office buildings out there. I thought the S52 was supposed to be extended via Seaview Avenue / Garretson Avenue to Richmond Road years ago. It would pass by the ADA compliant Dongan Hills station. Perfect for a service to a hospital. |
