Google Street view shows both bus stops intact.No, it doesn't. It shows me the sign was moved. (You might want to read this.) In an October 2013 capture there's a sign for the Avenue N stop in front of Dentique.  A year later, in an October 2014 capture, the bus stop signage is gone and replaced by parking signs.  This October 2013 capture shows only one bus stop sign in front of CVS, at the far left.  A year later, in this October 2014 capture, there are *two* bus stop signs in front of CVS. There is one on the left and one on the right.  You can also see both signs in front of CVS in this Bing Maps Streetside image dated 8/21/2014.  The sign on the left reads "B44 Sheepshead Bay Nostrand Av & Kings Hwy." The sign on the right reads "B44 Sheepshead Bay BM4 Drop Off Only Nostrand Av & Av N." Like I said, those 2 stops were very close together, and now they are even closer together such that it's hard to believe buses are stopping at both places. |
