This had me thinking of which stops in the city on the same route have the least distance between them. (There might have been a thread about this here some years ago, but I haven't yet found it.) The closest I've seen in person were Avenue N and Kings Highway on the southbound B44 local with ~50 yards between them, roughly equivalent to half a city block. But while Avenue N still has a stopcode (303487), I see from Google Street View that its sign was moved even closer to Kings Highway, so much so that it's hard to believe buses are stopping at both places since they're practically on top of each other. Can anyone confirm that this stop was de facto eliminated? |
