The link below is to a Doug Grotjahn photo of ex-FACCO 3126 northbound on the Grand Concourse at the bus stop immediately north of Fordham Road. Most BusTalk Gallery photos may be enlarged. When enlarged, this clearly shows the red destination sign 231st ST & B'WAY. If I am not mistaken, Surface in the 1940's had red route signs and black destination signs, whereas FACCO had black route signs and sometimes red destination signs. |
