Quite astounding, the photo at the link below shows a double-decker bus in 1914 on Williamsbridge Road at Pelham Parkway. It is not in regular service, but rather seems to tout the sale of lots from the Pearsall Estate north of Pelham Parkway. Recall that this is very close to the Pelham Parkway Station of the New York, Westchester, and Boston, now served by the #5 subway.
