That means that Sheepsheadbites residents are not intelligent enough to know when someone is telling the truth or not (regarding transportation- as he later amended it).
No, that's NOT what that means. What it means is that "Sheepsheadbites READERS are not EDUCATED/INFORMED/TRAINED enough to know when someone is PROVIDING AN INFORMED/EXPERT OPINION/ANALYSIS or not (regarding transportation- as he later amended it)."

So in other words, he is saying that readers of Sheepsheadbites are idiots for the most part, just as I stated. And I dare him to say that to that audience.
No, you're wrong, as WE'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU. Never never said they were idiots. And people all the time tell an audience that they aren't EDUCATED/INFORMED/TRAINED enough to make a valid counterargument.
