Probably a good portion has to do with BusTime: If people decide to walk or take the subway, rather than waiting for a bus that they know is running late, that's not necessarily a bad thing, thoughCitiBike at work. Citibike averaged 22,000 trips per day in 2014. Bus use in Manhattan is down 29,000 or 6.1%. Most other boroughs are down 1.5%. Manhattan would have been down 7000 per day at 1.5% decrease. That leaves 22,000 additional daily trips not taken in Manhattan. |
