I used to live in Brighton Beach when I was little, and the benchmark I used was around 30 minutes to Canal Street and 45 minutes to Herald Square. (Of course, it might've been a little longer. The schedule indicates around 40 minutes to Canal and 50 minutes to Herald Square). But no way is it an hour and 40 minutes. Even when factoring in having to take the B68 to the train, and transferring to the (R) to get downtown, maybe it's around an hour or so. |
