The Fifth Avenue double decker in the photo is actually a "Queen Mary".It got that nickname because it was made in 1938, around the time of the Queen Mary ocean liner. The "Queen Anne" is the open top double decker in the museum vintage fleet. You certainly know your queens. I wonder where the got "Queen Anne" from? The ocean liner "Queen Mary" was named after the then Queen - Consort. The last Queen Anne was back in the early 1700's. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
