The Grumman & Flx metro werent bad buses persay. Maint. wise a bit of a PITA. Lots of layers to go through to get to some items. Rear supension repairs easy, like a dream to get to the bellows, leveling valves & such. The fron OTOH a bitch. The Metro's a bit ahead of their time, very elctrical and had many items now standard on other buses that didn't come about until multiplexing. That also made them electrical nightmares, though. |
