The Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway has a similar history to the Nassau Expressway. It was to be part of I-287 and connected to Connecticut via the proposed Bayville-Rye Bridge.Fierce local opposition killed the bridge and the SOB is now just a NYS highway. |
