I can see both sides of the issue. However, a key element of this is the reaction of the Operator. Was he nasty or did he try to be as diplomatic as possible? I wasn't there so can't tell you.It's not the fault of the mother or the girl, but having a very loud, high pitched, shrill screaming going on right in your area can be very distracting and potentially unsafe, as was mentioned in the clip. I don't know. Step off the bus and call the control center (or whatever King Metro calls it)? Then you're delaying the bus. Honestly, I'm not sure what I would do myself. I don't think I'd ask them to leave though. As the reporter said, not an easy situation. |
